New / Replacing Fillings (Plastic filling composit)

The filling therapy is the repair of the part of the tooth which was caused by caries (= hole in the tooth). Today's modern filling techniques and materials make it possible to place fillings only in a defect-oriented manner. That means that only the destroyed parts of the teeth are replaced, not the healthy ones. For smaller fillings, this is done by using composite. This is a modern plastic (composite) material with ceramic components, which are tooth-colored, with a good oral hygiene, usually closes and supplies the hole well for several years. If a large part of the tooth is missing, the stability is at risk and it may also be necessary to produce a partial or full crown made of ceramic (CEREC or Dental laboratory), since in most cases a filling can break off in such a pre-condition
