Dentures

Healthy, white and properly aligned teeth are the best gift you can give your self-confidence. In our practice we are dedicated to the restoration and beauty of the smile and offer you our experience and professionalism in all areas of corrections - shapes - sizes and color of teeth.

The latest technologies and materials for aesthetic dentistry have prevailed in our practice. For example, porcelain crowns and facets are used, which guarantee a naturally shiny and beautiful smile.

CEREC

CEREC (Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramics) – a high-tech product which is taking a digital impression and creating a porcelain crown in just one visit.

No laboratory costs, no additional costs, no unpleasant waiting during an impression - you have your new tooth within 2 hours.

Crown

Dental crowns are a popular and effective solution to replace an injured or missing tooth. The most important prerequisite for the insertion of dental crowns is the presence of a tooth root. This tooth root can be from the original tooth or can be implanted as an artificial tooth root. A crown is usually placed on the remaining part of the damaged tooth. Metal crowns and veneer crowns are usually fixed with a medical cement. For ceramic crowns, on the other hand, a plastic adhesive is used. In the case of severely damaged teeth, a pin tooth with a composit build-up can also be used. The pin is used when the tooth stump is so damaged that it can no longer hold the crown sufficiently. The pen itself is usually made of metal and there to stabilize the tooth because it has too little tooth substance.

Bridges

Dental bridges and (artificial) tooth crowns are fixed dentures – in contrast to partial and full dentures, which are removable. The covering of a still existing but (severely) damaged tooth is referred to as a "dental crown", while one speaks of a "dental bridge" when a lost tooth is completely replaced.

Dentures in the form of dental crowns or dental bridges are recommended when a natural tooth is so badly damaged as a result of an accident or caries that a filling cannot close the defect. Consequences of a complete loss of one or more teeth due to diseases of the tooth substance or the periodontium can sometimes be:

  • Difficulty chewing and articulating
  • Impairment in the stability of the dental apparatus
  • Potentially associated with this: incorrect loading of muscles and joints
  • Changed appearance

Implant

Implants are a modern way of solving the problem of missing one or more teeth. In addition to being a reliable and long-term solution, placing implants is the most biological and gentle solution: it saves you from filing neighboring teeth and eliminates the need to constantly wear uncomfortable, sometimes mobile prostheses. We work with implant systems from the world's leading manufacturers of dental implants, such as:

  • ICX Medentis medical ®
  • Ankylos ®
  • 3M™ ESPE™ MDI
  • Straumann ®

Our doctor has rich experience and additional training in the field of Implantology.
Depending on your oral hygiene and bone condition, we give you 10 years unconditional guarantee of the implants that we use.

Removable total or partial dentures

In our dental practice, prostheses are mainly used for patients who have already lost so many teeth that it is impossible to make a bridge or other fixed dentures. Today's dentures are no longer comparable to the dentures of the past. Thanks to state-of-the-art dental technology and high-quality materials, prostheses can now be firmly and securely anchored with implants, snap fasteners or telescopes and thus offer a much better hold than in the past.
